Dear Parishioners,

I would like to take a moment to update you on how the Church renovation is going.
First, I would like to thank all those who contributed to renovating the Church. At one weekend Mass, we received over 1800 dollars in donations to aid in the renovation. This is amazing and really speaks to how people really want this project to move forward.

Second, I would like to tell you all what we have already accomplished. We have painted the sanctuary, the soffits. the chapel and the gathering space of the Church. I really like the color chosen (and it is one color that looks very different in different light) and it really makes the Church look sharper. We have also moved the crucifixes so that they can be seen better and appreciated by the people. Finally, we have installed the icon of Jesus and the innocents to the choir area. The original plan was to put it in the center of the sanctuary. However, it turned out that too much of it would be blocked by the tabernacle. I think we made a good choice, though and we will find other ways to decorate the sanctuary.

Third, here is what we plan to do in the future. The next step is that we are going to clean and repair the tiles in the gathering space. It has been a while since they were last steam cleaned. We will also plan to put down pavers outside the church and tile the sanctuary of the Church. We are also looking into acquiring art for the sanctuary. So far, things are going great and, again, I appreciate all the support.

Lastly, I would like to thank Lawrence Ghezzi (especially) and Wayne Berning for all the help and hard work they have put into this project. Feel free to let them know that you appreciate it if you see them.

If anyone has any questions or concerns, feel free to email me toddcarterpriest@gmail.com
God bless!
