Week of March 29, 2026

Dear Parishioners,

Happy Palm Sunday, and the beginning of Holy Week. This is the holiest week of the year in which we celebrate the mysteries of our redemption. It begins with the Lord’s Triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. Then, His Last Supper in Jerusalem on Holy Thursday. We will commemorate His death on Good Friday and His resurrection on the Easter Vigil. Here is the schedule :

• Monday, March 30th is the Chrism Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 7:30 pm. This mass is a celebration of Christ founding the priesthood at the Last Supper. It is also when the Bishop blesses the oils that we need for the sac- raments during the rest of the year.

• Tuesday, March 31st at 6 pm is the Seven Last Words of Christ Service. This is a brand new event we are having this year. It is a meditation on the 7 last phrases Christ said before He died on the cross. We will have several visiting priests and meditative music to lift your thoughts to God.

• Thursday, April 2nd at 7 pm is the Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday. This is the day that Jesus instituted the Eucharist.

• Friday, April 3rd at 3 pm is the Good Friday Service in which we commemorate the Lord’s Passion and Death. It is a somber occasion in which we realize the results of our sins and turn to Christ, our redeemer.

• Saturday, April 4th at 8 pm is the Easter Vigil where we celebrate in the grandest way possible Our Lord’s Resurrection. This is the most important event of our faith and empowers everything else we do as a Church. Christ bodily rose from the dead showing that He has conquered death and brings salvation to the world.

• Note: Even though April 4th is the first Satur- day, we cannot do any Masses that day other than the Easter Vigil. So, we will not be having our normal Traditional Latin Mass that morning.

• Lastly, on Easter Sunday we will continue to celebrate our Lord’s Resurrection with the 8 am, 10 am and Noon Masses.

We have a full week of events and I hope you can come to them. Either way, may the Lord bless you this last week of Lent and the whole Easter season!

God Bless!
