Today we celebrate the feast day of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, who was the first native-born American to be canonized a Saint. Mother Seton was a pioneer in Catholic Education and founded the first American congregation of religious sisters, The Sisters of Charity of St. Joseph. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us!
