Dear Parishioners,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. I just want to take this opportunity to let you know where we are with some ongoing parish events.

• Bible Study and Reading Group are going to be on break for the summer. Both of them have been going really well with very consistent groups and I am very glad that people have been engaging with the Sacred Scripture and Church teaching. I am taking a break this summer to recharge my batteries a bit and I will announce what we are doing with these groups in the Fall when we get a little closer.
• Parish Board Game Night is still tons of fun. At Board Game Night, anyone can come by to play games and hang out with people. If you enjoy playing games or think you might want to give it a try, then feel free to join us next time on June 28th. We meet in the school cafeteria starting at 5 pm. But, you can really join in whenever you like.
• Traditional Latin Mass on different Wednesday nights has also been going well and I have been very impressed with the attendance so far. I might be encouraged to have them twice a month if this continues to go well and I get some more help with servers. The upcoming dates for the Latin Masses are June 19, July 10 and August 7th at 6 pm. I couldn’t keep to the second Wednesday a month norm because of different events happening this summer.

Also, here is some information on some upcoming parish events you can look forward to:

• Good-bye to Holy Innocents School Mass. Join us for the 4 pm Mass on Saturday June 8th. Immediately following Mass people may visit the school one last time before the close of our last school year. We will be providing some light refreshments in the cafeteria. Feel free to let anyone who is an alumnus from the school know if they currently don’t receive this bulletin.
• The Parish Mission by Bill Wegner of Good News International Ministries will start on June 9th at 7 pm and continue through Wednesday, June 12th. We have morning and evening sessions, and we look forward to great talks that encourage us to personal holiness.
• Our Parish Anniversary Dinner is on August 17th after the 4 pm Mass. We are still planning it. But, please save the date and spread the word. If anyone would like to help, please let me know.
